I see you're one of those people who don't realise that most of the technology we use today wouldn't be possible without the use of algebra to research or produce. It's simply a theoretical extension of basic arithmetic, and allows complex problems to be broken down and easily solved - in fact, mathematics would be much harder without algebra.

Also, neither of the choices that I offered involved any algebra (unless you consider the substitution of the constant pi with the greek letter to be algebra).

Also, don't get me started on torturing innocent little children... there are plenty of other tools besides algebra that can be used to do that. :twisted:
