Beggin' your pardon there, Garolou? I didn't say anythin' nobody else said. Just 'cause I don't talk so well as you do don't mean I'm no animal. I'm just Lucy. You all know me...

Is that wot yer gettin at, Garolou? You think I'm weak? You think I'm lower, so you'll get me done in? Think yer fancy words'll sway us all? Pah! I bet you stuff your britches.

Sorry not to get involved earlier... I must say I find it immensely difficult to just sit there and condemn what could be an innocent villager to death. On the other hand, it is mandatory that we find those damn werewolves. I was kind of hoping that they would make a mistake and give themselves away... or that the seer would speak up and give us a hint of who it could or could not be...

Well, since the seer appears to be sleeping or uninterested and I still don't see 100% proof against anybody, I have to base my vote on gut feeling. And my gut feeling says that Lucy is acting so aggressively that she does appear to have the temper of a werewolf.

Yes...yes indeed.

"I'm no animal."

That shouldn't have to be said unless you have something to hide.
And there is certainly something wolf like in that aggressive outburst.

Yes...Lucy must indeed be the warewolf. I have made up my mind...for now.

*glances at Seko*

But keep your eye on that girl. If you find nothing but my crusts in the morning she is for sure the one who ate me...

Likewise, mister pie... This way you keep bouncing on the walls might be just an act to cause chaos in the group. So if I am to die tonight, the noose will be around your neck the next evening.

I do not believe in this point that Lucy would be guilty but nothing is certain. And we must do something alright, otherwise there will certainly be two of them beasts roaming around when the night falls. Lucy, do you have something to say in your defence?

Come on now, Pirog .... Seko !?!?!?
Seko is a sweet, innocent, young thing. Look how polite, civilized and understanding she is compared to the obvious werewolf Lucy, and possible werewolf Ree. Seko demonstrates nothing but fine human qualities.
I am so sorry now that I so misjudged her.
I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me Seko.

Oh my...now we are in a troubling situation...

As long as we do not kill or expose these warewolves before nightfall they have a golden oppurtunity to frame either me or Seko...

If the warewolves eat me or Seko tonight the survivor will be sure to hang...yes indeed...how did it come to this?

*shivers of fear into the very meat filled center of his frame*

I might have spoken out of fear against Seko, and by that I have put us both in danger...I'm sorry...

Wh--what?

*She rakes some hair behind her ear.*

Hold on a minute! You're sayin' I must be a werewolf because I'm rude? No offense meant, but I reckon you've not known many people in yer lives. Yes, I'm rough. But am I furry? no. Have I ever harmed one of you? Raised my hand in anger? No. Do you think I'd prowl about nights? Have you ever seen me outside after dusk?

'fact is, I'm... 'fraid of the dark. *her cheeks are suddenly tinged red. Her voice becomes calmer.*

Don'cha see? He's got you wrapped 'round his pinky! Every turn of his words you follow! He's manipulatin' us... that's the only reason I suspect him. A human wouldn't be so up and ready to kill his fellows.

Lucy.

I'll have you know, Lucy, that all I am doing right now is defending myself against your and Ree's vile accusations. Still...
okay girls and boys...
against my better judgement...
here goes...
you are unable to trust me... correct ?
I know I am unable to trust certain members of this group...
yet...
the most untrustworthy are those who say nothing...
they obviously have something to hide...
There are two who up till now have remained in the dark (literally), as werewolves are wont to do :
Revanael, Swymir.
One of these two is clearly a werewolf, playing it coy. The other, I suspect is a hapless, CLUELESS villager ( OOC with a bad internet connection apparently, lol).
And you now know which one I suspect amongst the "talkers". Mind you, Seko might actually manage to persuade me that Lucy is not a werewolf, but merely poorly brought up, which, yes, is not yet considered a crime.
One thing I think we might all be able to agree on is that one of the last two "people" mentioned is a werewolf, right ? Now, even if you are all convinced *I* am one, you would still have to be on the lookout for the other one and agree that either Revanael or Swymir is one, not ? Arbitrarily, I suggest Revanael. Lucy seems to know something about him we don't. She would now, wouldn't she ? If he should happen to wake up and be able to defend himself, so much the better for him. If not... there is a very strong chance we will be making the right
decision.
As to that second werewolf amongst us, she...uhhh...let's say, he, knows very well who he is. We'll get to him later ;-)
Let us deal with the obvious cases first.
Revanael, you have till high noon to explain your silence to me, otherwise I shall be changing my vote (yet again).
BTW, why are you so paranoid, Pirog ? The werewolves will obviously go after me first, because I am the most vocal villager, the one willing to go out on a limb to uncover them. Most others here are playing it safe, not taking any chances, such as you. Your type does not concern the werewolves. They want to silence the opinion leaders, as I have apparently become, at least according to Lucy.

May God help us all.

Garolou, I only pointed at you because you were the first to do so. But your show of reason has made me believe it may not be you... I am not sure, but I will still keep my eye on you. If you remember, I earlier mentioned Revanael as a possible werewolf. Well now my suspicions in him have deepened. His silence makes me wonder what sort of excuse he may try to fish up for having woken up so late...
Seko, I believe in your innocence. But Mei looks slightly suspicious, especially when asking for the seer. Of course, the seer's knowledge would be good here, useful here, but if the seer were to reveal him or herself, a werewolf would probably then decide who to kill next so we would not know. Perhaps whoever the seer is should speak to a trusted friend, who in turn whispers to the others they trust so as not to reveal the seer. Now let us hurry up with this lynching... If there is any werewolf to kill, it must be the silent and sly Revanael.

Likewise, Ree. I now feel exactly the same way about you. Although normally, I would not trust you any further than I can throw you, there
are, I admit, far more suspicious characters lurking about in these woods, than you. Nor can *I* be absolutely sure about *you*, but, you, at least have also demonstrated reason. Now... I have always had great faith in the innate ability of a woman to detect a man's evil intentions and misdeeds. So, if you have this intuition about Revanael, it is good enough for me. I shall support you in your decision.
We certainly all agree about Seko's innocence. She is such a sweet, delectable, young thing.
Your suggestion about the seer is a good one. Seer ! Surely, there must be ONE person, amongst us, whom you trust entirely and consider to be above all suspicion ?!?! Please let him or her know what you know !
Yes, you are right, Ree. Let us not dither any longer and get down to the highly unpleasant business at hand. I now turn myself to the mayor of this village :
Your worship !
I, Garolou, in my quality as a reasonable and long-standing citizen of this village, do hereby officially and solemnly request and require the prompt execution, by way of lynching from the highest oak tree, of the so-called fellow citizen Revanael, on the grounds that, on December 13th last, at or about one A.M., being the time when the full harvest moon reaches its apogee in the northern sky, the said "citizen" did willfully, I might even add, gleefully, proceed to attack, murder and tear to shreds our most excellent and beloved friend, Trage, who will be sorely missed and regretted by all, an outstanding, loving, devoted and loveable neighbour that he was, who was far too young to die, and sweet, in his general disposition, and that the said werewolf, Revanael, did, without any respite or shred of regret, even, endeavour to render the unfortunate, hapless Trage into a state of matter only comparable to the quality of cat food, the grade of which can only be acquired in a low level discount store operation. May the good Lord look mercifully down upon this wretched animal's soul, assuming it even has one. This is my decision, your Worship, and I stand by it. My vote has been cast.

*Sigh* Though it would truly be easy for us to slaughter those in sleep, we would only be betraying ourselves. The body was almost cold, meaning the werewolves had struck soon after dusk. Though I'm setting myself and all in this room in danger by saying this, I doubt that Swymir nor Revanael is one of them. They are too sleepy to be engaged in such activity. If we kill one of them, we shall cast our vote on an innocent person, leaving the werewolves to roam free. They are not going to give us time to reveal their identity. Though the chance might be slight that one of those two is the seer, or that Trage was him, it is safer for them to assume that the active ones are more of a threat. They can only strike once in a night, so they will not waste their time on people that are no threat to them.
*She's staring at the wall with a stiff gaze, trying to hold her breath steady.* I'm scared. Scared like hell. They might kill me to frame Pirog. Or the other way around, though you now seem to be standing behind me things might change would he be found dead in the morning. Anyone of us might die. Anyone of us might.. be one of them.
The sun is low already... *She hides her forehead against her knee, unable to keep back the tears anymore.* Oh God, I can't trust any of you though I wish I could! In a way I envy the beasts, at least they have each other, they know who's on their side but me, I got nobody. Oh God... How could I cast a vote on any of you, my friends, when it would be just a shot in the dark? Not Rev, please, not him, he couldn't have...
Dear God, could it be that this doubt between you, Ree and Garolou, is just an act to take away the suspicions? Now already you're joining your votes together on a poor sleeper, though with grumble. It must be one of you or both, it just has to be. I'm sorry. You have been so friendly towards me but I just can't trust you. *Casting an agonized look at them.*
Werewolves, who ever you are... I know it's easy to show a smiling face in public, then grin with sharp teeth in the night, when you look at each other over the bed, ready to strike. I'm just a little girl, I need my beauty sleep. I can't hold my eyes open much longer. *Sniff* Just please... when you do it... snap my neck first, ok? It's enough torture with the nightmares I'm bound to see over what you did to poor Trage. Please do it fast. I can't stand the pain. *Her shoulders start shaking with violent sobbing and she buries her face in her palms.*

OOC: This needs to be moving forward soon or I think people will start to lose interest in it...
Perhaps a time limit for "turn changes" should be set up from the beginning?

OOC: yes, I think something needs to be done. Does anybody know what's up with Revanael and Swymir? And Lucy, who do you vote for?

So far, the only two who can agree on a victim are Ree and Choriste. There are 8 people in this village, I think there should be more consensus than that.
