Ao replies in both earth and mind-speak, projecting his thoughts "loud" enough for anyone in the hall to hear them. The earth-speak is simply for the intimidating effect of the bold rumbling that it produces, the tremor easily shaking the chandelier.
"If we are not alone then let whoever is hiding show themselves!" He turns again towards the center of the room and pounds his fists together, ready for action.

(I always forget.)
Vex and Xev wait for Briker to climb up.
"Shall we go back to the forest?" Xev asks.
Vex snaps back. "Surely there's something else of value here! Aurdida can't have taken the only valuable object in the whole village."
"But the buildings are locked!" Xev retorted. "How do you expect we even get in them to search?"
Vex shudders angrily. "Fine, to the forest then. If we meet a bigger creature, we're coming back."
Xev rolls his eyes. "Suuure..."
The two plod on towards the forest.

MushBall was rather disappointed. He had been sure that he’d seen some other, non pink creatures, but they’d dispersed before he could speak to them. But he decided not to let it upset him, and decided to continue his exploration of the town.
“What an ugly race of people.” Thought MushBall, recalling the hideous pink creature that had come out of the home. “I bet they are extremely unintelligent, as well. They must be, to ignore the gods so.”
He went into the museum to see if there was anything there that he wanted, and he searched it thoroughly, marveling at every tool and trinket, as he’d never seen most of them. “What a treasure house!” he thought. “Look at all this underserved wealth and splendor! It’s a good thing I’ve come to set things right.”
The fire at the centre of town amazed MushBall to no end. For near ten minutes after finding it, he stared intently into it, watching it with great interest. He had only ever seen fire once before, in the smoldering pieces of the tree that Garob had set alight. Bet he got the concept. Fire ate thing and left behind ash.
“But” he thought. “it really is very pretty.” And so he decided to take some with him, and reached into the fire to grab a small handful.
It took MushBall a fair bit of time and a very scorched hand to finally get the concept of fire down entirely, but when he did, he had a wonderful idea. “I do better in attaining my goals than I’d expected!” he thought. “What a genius am I! Oh MushBall, there is no one more clever than you.”
MushBall, setting down his walking stick, took a piece of firewood, and, setting it alight, lobbed it onto the roof of a nearby house, with the intent to set it on fire. He then threw two more (although more hurried than the others, as he feared the pink creatures would soon be onto him.) and then snatched up his walking stick anew.
After taking up his walking stick, he raised his hands up and gurgled skyward “Tremble, pink folk of the wooden village, tremble pink folk of the world, for the holy war has begun!” And saying that, he turned and ran as fast as he could along the south west road, away from the village.

(For AoM and Razorlance)
The cautious pair could hear a clanging in the rectangular room joining the domed room. "Whatever it is, it's between us and where we want to go." Kikkik remarked.
(For El_Skwidd, Nixit, and Schme)
Vex/Xev and Nixit once again passed into the pastures between the road and the forest. The strange animals did not pay much attention to them, and presently they reached the odd wooden statue with the rotten meat. In the noon-day sun the stench was worse than ever, and the figure swarmed with flies. Shortly MushBall appeared, walking away from the village. Screams could be heard coming from the village, and more smoke appeared over the village. The village returned to life as the villagers panicked, realizing that one of the creatures had set fire to the village.
(For AngelSpice)
The trip back to the Anemone Garden was uneventful, and Audirda did not meet with any creatures along the way. Arriving at the Garden, she noticed that neither Dietris nor Nioss were anywhere to be seen.

(For AngelSpice. I was going to put this in the last post but I had to cut it short for RL reasons.)
Presently, Audirda spotted Losom among the anemones, trimming the seaweed and tending to the health of the anemones. He waved at her with his hand, while his claw snipped the seaweed. "Hello Audirda, was your excursion successful?"

(Oh damn, I'm going back that way? I had meant to go the other way. I get confused alot. No matter.)
MushBall continued to run as fast as his feet would carry him until he came upon Vex and Xev, and seeing them, he hailed them with a wave and a gurgled greeting.
"Hello again, my friends! How long has it been? There seems to be some sort of commotion over with those pink folk there. Rather loud and unpleasant types, if you ask me. And they've really no hospitality. None of them had manners enough to come outside and grovel before me in all my greatness. One would think someone would teach them the proper way to act in the presence of people such as ourselves, no? What did you think of them? Oh, and I see your going back to forest. A nice place, the forest. I quite like it, aswell. What are you up to back here?"

Tek followed Ao, but decided to try staying on two limbs. The other creatures seem to do so quite effortlessly he thought, let see how hard it is. He moved slowly, putting one limb in front of the other, the upper middle limb watching the ground were he was walking, whilst the other two scanned around the room. For his first attempt at walking on two limbs he thought he did quite well. He eventually managed to match Ao's pace and followed close behind him into the room.
