Climb high (with safety equipment) and attempt to jump to reach something on the same level while people are watching or to be confined in a box in complete darkness for half an hour?

(Oh and I've done that jump in a high place thing irl. When you look at it from the ground it doesn't look like much but damn when you get up there your knees start shaking.)

Being temporarily able to shut down your hearing or to turn off your sense of pain (though senses of touch and pressure would still work)?
