I cannot see enough reason for mtm21 to be lynched. I see more reasoning for Phalynx to be lynched. Perhaps, though, I should put a little faith in him to be a good guy putting himself in danger for the real Spider. I'm not sure I can. It is a difficult decision for there is very little evidence for anyone and I don't want to see another mistake made. I cannot make a decision today.. I just cannot. Not on what little I have to go on.

Kwor

With the decimation of Karnon forces at what was now being called the Kwor Beach Massacre, the focus of the TBR threat had now shifted to the budding city of Kwor. With his recent victories, Rau Nick Blackrock was getting bolder, and now was looking to infiltrate and gain control of the limestone held by this defiant community. Blackrocks were sent in to sow unrest and mistrust in the young town.

While the discussion and accusations in Kwor were not as heated or as numerous as in Karnon, two figures became suspect. First mtm21 was quickly accused of being a TBR front. Then in retaliation, Spider was accused of being the true dissident.

Many onlookers stood idly by, fearful of pledging their vote to either side. But finally, mtm21 was edged out.

The mob took crowbars to the gates of the Kwor Cathedral and ripped the lock off it's hinges. Storming into the Prelate's Sanctum, they dragged mtm21 from his sleep and into the main square.

"We know your whole order is from Karnon Forest and that your leader, Lopan, is sympathetic to Nick Blackrock," someone spat. "You and all your meddling TBR followers will be dealt with."

"No, you have it all wrong!" mtm21 pleaded. "We advocate peace and trade, we do not stand for the Bl--"

With the cruel stroke of a claymore, the old monk was struck down.

*frowns, worried, and bites his lip...*

"Th-this... is not good... no - nothing."

This is getting to be ridiculous.

What does this tell us? It tells us that some people who claim to be virtuous and innocent crusaders for right are really TBR. The least suspicious someone acts, it seems to tell us, the more suspicious they really are. I suppose all we can do is try to last the night and *shivers* see who's left in the morning...

Rau Nick Blackrock

Nick stood in the newly reclaimed TBR limestone storage building in Kwor, and could not keep a smile from his face. Despite an entire island enraged against his people, he had now not only gained the hematite rich Karnon Forest, but now a permanant foothold in the limestone laden Kwor as well. Apparently, all he had to do was to sit back and let his enemies' fear destroy themselves.

There came a knock at the door and one of his lieutenants entered. "What next, Rau Blackrock?"

"We need to get access to coal. The De Dannans still stand in our way. And I doubt we'll be able to manipulate them into killing themselves. Take whoever you think will be awake and active, and bring me the head of their leader."

The big man grinned, "It'll be done, Rau Nick." He turned and exited the building, leaving Nick alone once again.

An hour later, Nick was busy copying keys when the door opened again. The figure crept quietly across the room and unhooked a crossbow from his belt.

"Rau Nick?" The figure asked.

Nick raised his eyes from his work. A chill went down the Blackrock's spine as he recognized the voice.

"Spider."

The crossbow twanged, and Nick's body slumped to the ground.

West (Jim De Dannan) has been killed.
Antisocial Hermit (Rau Nick Blackrock) has been killed.

*he stares at the body of Rau for awhile, then glances up at Phalynx, with a slight smile on his face*

A De Dannan has ben killed....BUT*grins* Nick is also dead, I think the tide has finally changed in this battle.

Spider, cantrlady and Angelspice seem the prime candidates for TBR, although so little is clear even now. I vote Angelspice you have said little but the little you have said makes me suspicious of you and I am curious to see which of your friends will remain true to you...
