It doesn't matter if you know what the whole TBR K island war was all about. It's the mafia game first. Plus you won't have prejudice on how people should act, giving yourself away.

This is just a Cantr related setting that you will catch onto as the game goes on. I know it might not be historically accurate, but saying this takes place right after the name wipe would make sense for this game with nobody knowing who everyone is. It is Cantr related.

Man, sounds complex...

I've been playing Mafia with friends every night since Wednesday (I was on a short vacation), and I never got past detectives, mafia and vigilante...but oh well. I'm in.

I'd rate this as medium complexity as far as these games go. It's basic Mafia, only with a lot of roles.

I've played MUCH more complicated games online. In fact, I'm currently playing a varient themed upon George RR Martin's "A Game of Thrones" book, and that game has 5 different sides plus neutrals, and every player has their own special ability and seperate victory conditions.

Oh and Torkess, this isn't necessarily an RP'd game. You don't have to act in character, in fact, it's better if you don't Role-play, so that people won't have any idea who you are. Please don't be shy about posting.

(I suppose some crafty players might role-play as someone else just to confuse the other side.)

(If you don't get the basics, than just chek the other cantr mofia game. If you don't understand all the extra caracters, just remember this. If he's not on your team, vote lynch and murder.)

I'll give it a go :)
And I begged her give me horses
To trample down my enemy
So eager was my passion
To devour this waste of life
But she would not think of battle that
Reduces men to animals
So easy to begin
And yet impossible to end

I read through the Mafia thread and I didn't quite understand your tallies on the last couple of pages. You had two or three names on a line and sometimes the same name on a different line. If you do the same thing in this game, can you explain your tallies?

Current Tally:

Phalynx - 2: Torkess (2), fishfin (3)
Pie - 1: Schme (1)
Torkess - 1: Phalynx (4)

Not voting: Pie

Phalynx is on the block. Voting closes at 12noon EST.

There, Phalanx is mentioned twice. I don't understand which is the vote. Are you also saying who voted for whom? If so, then it apprears Phalanx voted twice.

The names on the left, on the far left, are the names of the people who are being voted for, and the names that come after that are the names that are voting

Okay, I'll remove you. Have a good vacation.

I'm taking 2-3 more players. I'll hand out roles on Monday, and we'll have a Long day 1 starting Tuesday.

Thank you, all of you, for signing up!

Agreed... I'd would personally like to see a timetable too, I almost missed my vote in the last game because I didn't know when we were supposed to vote.
