As the villagers slept - two foul beasts roamed the village, looking to satisfy their hunger...
They promptly broke into the local McO'Donnell's and began to devour Fat Mac after Fat Mac - but 'twas not enough... There was no goodness to ba had from these burgers...
With saliva dripping from their mouths, they began to prowl around the village. They set eyes upon the house of villager trage, and promptly broke their way in and devoured him whole...
Meanwhile, another villager was having strange dreams, and was coming to realise that tyhey were able to look deep into the souls of others through their dreams...
The villagers woke with the cock crowing, and immediately convened a meeting. Someone had to pay... There were no Fat Macs left!...
oh, and trage was lying dead and half eaten...
The scared villagers could only see one answer - a public lynching... but who was it to be?

trage is dead...
a public discussion take splace between everyone - use the forum to post,
and any other means of communication if you wish...
But I need your own votes posted here - I will count them up once all the villagers have voted, taking the most recent vote as your final choice...

Garolou! Trage was my friend! Why would I have killed him? It could have been Revanael. Who knows what he was doing last night? The chickens were all afuss in their coop, evil was truly about.
But Garolou, you claim I have killed a dear friend? Who is to say you are not the murderer, the werewolf, the bloodthirsty beast who slaughtered an innocent man.
Someone, stand behind me on this, please? Look at Garolou, couldn't he have been scheming about and doing murderous deeds last night? Look, he was the first to accuse. He blames a simple farmgirl of murder. *sighs* I would never kill a friend, but who knows of Garolou's honor. He is untrustworthy, a lying scoundrel and a cheat. Until there is proof that someone else murdered my friend, Garolou gets my vote for this lynching. I'm going to go mourn now... *covers her head with a black scarf*

A performance worthy of the best Shakespearean actors I have ever seen ! I can arrange to have you booked for a performance at Stratford-on-Avon, if you wish. I'll bet there is not going to be a dry eye in the house, especially upon the realization of how touching your relationship was with your regretted and excellent friend Trage.
Surely, such an effort should be worth something !
OK Let us say I believe you, F O R N O W.... I shall, of course, ignore the libelous slander you have hurled in my direction, I being the outstandingly decent innocent villager that I am. Hey, look, man...I'm on your side !
But, indeed, I would also be curious to see what the werew.......erm......innocent villager Revanael would have to say about all of this ?

BTW
You all look very closely at my avatar now.
Now, I ask you...
is this the picture of such a bloodthirsty creature as Ree would have you believe ?!?!?!?!?
Is this the picture of a hardened vicous criminal (such as SEKOetc, for example ? Hey, don't let that innocent little school girl appearance fool you. Under those girlish pigtails and printed dress lies a totally unscrupulous, scheming, murdering, psychopathic, conniving MURDERESS ! )
No, t'is but the picture of a poor, INNOCENT, humble frog !!! ... a very WISE frog, even...who knows what's coming down in the village pond.
How could a frog viciously murder a human !?!?!?

Well... *spits.* Frog couldn't. Ravenous wolf-frog could do so easily. I'm not castin' my vote anytime soon, but you're lookin' pretty... suspicous there, frog.
Me thinks yew protest it too much. Or... it goes somethin' like that.

Revanael is a he?!?
I have always believed she...or rather he, was a woman. Highly suspicious indeed...if not a warewolf he might very well be some sort of witch or warlock. Perhaps we should make rid of him just in case...but then perhaps not. That could be the sign of a seer...and that would be of great help to us.
*looks around with a paranoid expression*
I must say I find it rather uncomfortable to be so near a crowd with wolves in sheep clothing...luckily I'm but a poor harmless...*looks at avar*...piece of pie.

Hard to believe anyone of us could have done it... The way that poor man was ripped apart -- *shivers* how could anyone..? They are forcing us to do their work, to kill more innocent people so that finally there's no one left to defend against them. Yet... no, is there no other way? Even if we lynched someone tonight, um do we know how many there are? Even if we killed a werewolf, it still wouldn't save us from another gruesome thing happening the next night. *Glancing around in terror.* It could be anyone, anyone of us could be the next victim. I don't wanna die, I'm too young.. and pretty! Besides I could never hurt anyone, you know that. *Appealing look* They're after me, I know it... I know it! You see...

Zoot, Pirog, Seko, we must stop the werewolves so that no more innocents are killed. See who acts the most supicious, with the most outlandish lies? Garolou. We should pool our votes together. Seperate, and pointing in every direction, we can achieve nothing, but if we work together, we may be able to discover and destroy those bloodthirsty beasts.

Well... his fiery accusations do sound drawn out of the hat and I don't trust that frog face. But would a werewolf be stupid enough to step out of the shadows and start talking the first, when that's sure to draw all the attention on him? And I'd think having such an ugly face is enough for a curse, but to be a werewolf, that would be a double disaster. Why do you attack so hard on him, Ree? He cast doubts on me as well but can you blame him, he's just shocked about the situation, like all of us.
Ah, I see there are some of us still silent and sleepy, would it be because they have been too busy ripping trage apart last night? That must take a whole lot of energy.

It's Mister Garolou, to you, Lucy.
Precisely, Seko ! I would not be that stupid, would I !?!?!? I'm glad to see SOMEONE is thinking straight here. I now get the feeling I was totally wrong about you and perhaps, indeed, you are that innocent little girl that you appear to be. The only hurtful thing in this whole exchange is that my appearance has somehow become an issue. You may all consider me ugly, but surely, that does not yet constitute a crime, right ? ...and it is not because I am ugly that I go out killing people at night, right ?
Funny this Ree citizen.... I cannot seem to make up my mind about her. Indeed, why so hostile ? I did tell her I would give her the benefit of the doubt, following her memorable and touching performance. One minute she appears to be innocent, serving us a sob story about her relationship with Trage, the next, she is viciously requiring my execution.
If you are looking for people who "stand out", I think she may very well foot that bill.
Still.... we really need to hear from the others here, failing which, yeah...I may eventually wind up voting to execute two innocent people, those who are not saying a word. Perhaps THEY are the most suspîcious, right now... or maybe they are just too afraid to talk about it ? Revanael, Mei and Swymir ? Where are you all ? We need to hear from you.
But, in the final analysis, if we are to vote for ONE person today, I cast my vote against Lucy. After all, why this surprising hostility towards me, if not that she is a werewolf, sensing what she perceives to be an easy kill ? Because I stand out, yes. Because I am the one who tried to get something going here, yes. Because I talk the most, yes. The herd mentality of a pack of wolves is such that they always go for what they perceive as the easy prey : the lame, sick , old or injured member of their prey's population. Or, in this case, those who talk too much... and get noticed.
No, Pirog, I think you are wrong about Seko. Also, I do not doubt YOUR humanity either, as your dithering is ample proof of it
Lucy's prompt, unbridled, gratuitous, overt hostility, however, along with her obvious lack of respect, civility and basic decency are ample proof of the inability of an animal to successfully masquerade as a decent citizen, no matter how hard it tries. She gets my vote, for now... the only obvious werewolf, so far. The second one, I sense, is far more adept, however, and will require some pretty fine psychology to ferret out.
See you all in round 2 ! I hope.
