OAKLAND ?!?! Well Saz, thats reason enough to change my vote right there... but seriously, you guys have a point, we need to find the mole. There are more than the four of us in this building. I think there is atleast 2 infiltrators. This was way to complicated for a one man job.

I think we need to regroup, see who is here, debrief, and figure out who is on whose side.

A bleary-eyed young officer wanders into the lounge, looking rather disheveled.

"'smatter, guys, I miss something?"

He scratches his belly absently.

"Communists? Not here... I hope... wouldn't that be bad?"

He squints around the room, trying to assess the situation, but apparently finds nothing out of the ordinary for now.

"Well, if we're making random accusations, I might have to vote saztronic. If he's from Oakland, there must be something wrong with him..."

Let me tell you a few things AoM, I did not equate McCarthyism with proof, I was referring to how people in that time tossed out accusations like that wihtout proof. And I didn't jump to defend Elros right away, I atleast engaged him in some silly dialogue to test his general US knowledge.

And I am sure that any commie spy that was smart enough to pull this off is so deep undercover, he would know his football too... but hey, like you I know we have to shake things up and see what comes of it.

One thing I think everyone is forgetting is that we have a missle strike ready to be initiated and we need to shut it down before the US loks like the aggressors in world war 3.

And frenchfisher, what do you mean did you miss something? You should have been at your post right when the alarms went off.

*nods in agreement with Bowser*

I agree, there is alot more at stake now then just pointing fingers at each other, however, we do need to watch our back, because whoever is responsible for this could just go about and undo everything we work on.

*turns to Frenchfisher*

Bowser has a point. What on earth are you doing back there son? Why aren't you at your post? Matter of fact, what is your post?

"Oh, the alarms, right. They just wo- I mean, they just broke me out of my concentration. I was just concentrating. Very hard. I was very focused. On my work, you know. Working hard."

He tries his best to open his eyes widely, surreptitiously rubbing at his right eye, and stifles a yawn.

"I monitor Russki chatter over in counter-ops," he says, flicking his hand back to a booth where he had been, "haven't you seen me around? Certainly you have heard of my father."

*nods to frenchfischer*

Well I have seen you around a few times, and you do tend to "concentrate" alot.

*scribbles something down in his black notebook and then glances back up at him*

However, I have not been here more than a few weeks, so I am not well-acquainted with everyone here yet. I was sent here by the NSA to monitor you guy's progress. You do not think I wear this suit for nothing do you?

Well, you're that kid. I'm not even gonna touch that. It's one thing to get a job because of your Daddy, but atleast do it right after you get it. Go back to sleep. We'll wake you when it's all over.

*Looks to AoM* Since we have no real proff to go on at this junction, I'll toss you a little questions so you can show us how American you are:

Tell me, what the best guitar solo of all time?

I'm curious what you think AoM, or should I call you Agent of Moscow.

*laughs*

Well that is an easy one Bowser, and American knows the answer to that, and so does probably most of the rest of the World if they listen to the radio.

*grins slyly at AoM*

Even and Agent of Moscow. You could have chosen a less conspicuous alias don't you think? I guess you wanted to toy with us Americans and see how observant we were.

The best guitar solo of all time? That would be Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird"

Now why are you being so deflective? Normally by this time, I would be voting for you, but I'm curious to see what your next move will be.

Mod - When is the deadline for day one's lynch?

I'm sorry, the greastest guitar solo ever is Jimi Hendrix's The Star-Spangled Banner as the national anthem of the United States.

Free Bird is great, don't get me wrong.... but I was looking for a guitar solo.

This doesn't mean I condemn you, It just doen't clear you

Note:
I was waiting for all to post before I announce a deadline. Pie has just posted, so that makes at least one post from everyone.

Smellfungus got in contact. If anyone drops out, they will take their spot.

Well hell, that deadline doesn't give much time.

This scenario allows for two mislynches.

Assume 2 evil.

2 evil, 6 good: start
2 evil, 5 good: 1st mislynch
2 evil, 4 good: nightkill
2 evil, 3 good: 2nd mislynch
2 evil, 2 good: nightkill

at that point, evil is in great position, either it has already won, or in the case of a traitor, it has tied the votes, and can easily lock up the vote since the traitor and wolf can quickly coordinate on an acceptable target and lock up tiebreaker.

So really, we can only allow for one mislynch.

Whatever your misgivings about me, I will be a mislynch. Admitedly, I'm not a bad mislynch, since I'm a US Agent. But I'd rather not be condemned to die just on that fact. And if I was the (seer's) free view, then I definitely shouldn't be today's lynch, but we'll only know that if there's a push away towards someone else.

I don't have any overpowering evidence for anyone else, but I know that I'm good, so don't just sit with the pressure on me, find other people.

As such, smellfungus will take now take his place.

Given this, and the lack of movement so far, the deadline is now Thursday 23:00 GMT
