Erake jumped back, startled. She spoke to him in a startled tone. "What the hell?? You can see me??" She readied herself to defend herself if needed...
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Erake looked at him a little irritated when he said she was no threat. Of course she was a threat! No matter, she had other things to worry about. "I've been following you because those other creatures are so boring..." She lowered her arms as well, but realized something, and she looked puzzled. "You really can see me??" She frowned. Getting used to this....power...was going to take a while.

As Ao begins to grasp the language, he exchanges introduction and pleasantries with Tek and Briker. But when Kikkik speaks again about Eriadina and then about fates, his small talk stops abruptly.
"Fates?" Ao wonders out loud in mind speak. "What do you mean fates? And yes, I wish to go to meet the goddess! Please take me to her!"

Xev listens to the gurgling, muddled speech of the MushBall with a confused expression on his face. "I'm sorry, but I have no idea---"
Vex cuts in. "Sorry, MushBall. Xev is of inferior intelligence." Vex shoots a dirty look at his other head. "We're going to the forest to escape the power of the terrifying Beezlebub. Resuso told us that the forest is a relatively safe place, so we came here. We have seen Kitty, though. She went down the path to the... that way." He motions to the path to Bassus's dwelling.
"I think we should wait a while before meeting another... anything powerful. We'll be sitting here if for some reason you need us," Vex finished. With that, the turtle-like creature drew its limbs and heads into its shell to sleep for a few hours.
(Note: I'm still here and active. My character is in hiding, though, so they're being lazy.)

(3shyof30rats and Snake_byte, just continue what you’re doing… I have nothing more to add until you move somewhere)
(This one for AoM, Razorlance, and Nixit)
Kikkik answered, facing Ao and Tek. “Your fate, your lot in life. There are a few gods that can bring out a hidden ability in you, called a fate. It helps to determine what you will do with your life. You can either go to see Ilosep or Dietris. Ilosep is the god of Justice, and Dietris, the Sea goddess. Dietris lives underwater, so only Ao is able to see her. Ilosep is just up the road, at the Old Temple, which is on our way anyways, so I would recommend we go to see Ilosep. Briker, are you going to come on this journey as well?”
He paused. “Well, no matter, I’ll let you decide. But we should all go to see Ilosep now, regardless of whether you want to come with us to see Eriadina or not.”
At that, Kikkik began to make his way toward the Old Temple.

While Dietris waited for Audirda to show her the artefact, she turned and spoke to Davrim. “I am sure Urdast told you I am to assign you a fate. Well, it is not so much an assignment as a bringing-forth, a realization. Let me see… your fate shall be… AstralMotive. You will be able to move inanimate objects with your mind. You will be able to move things up to a hundred times heavier than yourself but you may only use this power between sunset and sunrise, that is, during the night. My son shall help you to realize your power.”
Dietris directed Davrim where to stand, and Nioss proceeded to perform his power on him. The light was only slightly less intense from where Audirda was floating. It seemed to illuminate the entire ocean. In a moment it was gone.
“There you have it!” Nioss spoke more assuredly than before, since he was not speaking to Audirda. However, her presence still had an effect on him, for he once again retreated to his mother’s side once he had completed his task.
(OOC note: the 100-times heavier thing is only approximate, since I don't know your character's weight, intended only to prevent you from lifting ridiculously large things, e.g. buildings, the moon. Don’t worry, I will let you know if you can’t lift something)

Dietris opened her left eye widely and peered at the atrefact. "Mmmm, it is a curious thing isn't it? Yes I see what you mean... definitely a piece missing. It must have been made by the Old Ones. They were a mighty civilization that lived around here many ages ago. They made many wondrous things, but they let their ingenuity swell their egos. Came to think that they could do without the gods, that they could surpass the gods in their cleverness, even started to claim that we did not exist! For their hubris and arrogance, the gods made their city crumble into the sea, taking all of them with it. The only building left standing upon the surface was the Old Temple, abandoned by them when they ceased to believe. The god of Justice, mighty Ilosep, resides there, along with some of the ghosts of the Old Ones."
Dietris continued, slowly blinking her great eye. "As for that artefact you hold, I have no idea what it is or what it might be used for. You are welcome to keep it with you, if nothing else than as a reminder of what arrogance can bring. Losom, the tender of the Garden, is a collector of such things. He might be able to shed some light on it. He lives just over there, in the little cave where you see the light coming out. Don't worry, he loves having visitors. Any excuse to flap his gills!" Dietris laughed.

Erake laughs. "Of course I don't seek -amusement-. I just simply needed something to do...And following you seemed the best thing at the time." She grinned. Let's see how far I can go with him... "Although right now, I'm thinking you're just as boring as all those other creatures. And, the name's Erake."

I clench my long findgers into a fists
"Do not -" I close my eyes almost slipping which only frustrates me further.
"Erake, you haven't a clue who I am! I DEVOUR Gods! They flee from me! Beasts of massive proportions rip themselves apart at my command." My eyes now open and staring at her.
"Do you still think I'm boring mortal?"
