lol... I only used the database to show you who she was... That's what I thought you were asking...

If I'd seen Poseidon Adventure, I'd post an actor in it but I haven't... don't give up on this game yet.. I do think it could end up being a lot of fun.. I just have to wait for actors and movies I've actually seen, or know enough about... :P

Runaway Jury is rather contemporary. Someone must have seen it.

I dont' want to see it... I read the book, and loved it.. I heard that the movie is about gun control instead of tobacco companies... and I'm not a fan of huge changes from book to movie... It depends on whether it sounds like a change that could be made convincingly... and tobacco to guns didnt' sound too convincing...

My sis wants me to see it though... maybe someday I will...

The basic premace is the same. A school shooting kills a bunch of people and the lawyer gets the gun companies off and then two peopl etry to rig the jury so that the gun companies lose.

Plus you don't have to have seen the movei just have some general knowledge about different movies and who was in them. I tried to bring the movie time frame up into a modern era so that more people can relate and since we have to get to Shawshank Redemption (I did read that book and thought both the book and the movie were great), which was made somewhere in the 90's I bleieve. So we will have to do a few years of backtracking.

I liked the movie a lot. It took me a bit to understand it, but it was very good once I did.

Because this game requires skill an dit is not nearly as easy to post whore as it is in other games, *cough* *Word Ping Pong*. So naturally it doesn't get any recognition.

So yes...Gene Hackman plays the Reverend in "Poseidon Adventure"
He also stars in John Grisham's "Runaway Jury" with fellow actor John Cusack.
Mr. Cusack in turn starred in the movie "HIgh Fidelity", alongside Tim Robbins.
Mr. Robbins play the main character, Andy Dufresne, in Stephen King's "The Shawshank Redemption".

Easy enough. Next one.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" to "The Ninth Gate"

Have fun. : )

Telly Savalas in "On her Majestys Secret Service" and "The Dirty Dozen"
with Ernest Borgnine who was in "The Posiden Adventure"
with Gene Hackman who was in "Mississippi Burning"
with Willem Defoe who was in "Once upon a time in Mexico"
with Johnnie Depp who was in "The Ninth Gate"

(The Posiden Adventure is obviously the key to this game :) )

OK

"Crash" (2005) to "Kind Hearts and Coronets" (1949)

While the Poseidon adventure may be important, I can name three movies which usually do a lot more.

1. The Lord of the Rings (any one of them)
2. Apollo 13
3. Any movie with Johnny Depp in it.

Anyway, back to the game...hmmm...haven't heard of that second one...
