*he peeks tentatively out from behind the bus station, looking from side to side at the empty roads. He whispers urgently*

Anyone know when the 109 bus comes through here? I got basketball practice later today and you’ll never guess who’s my coach too.

*he grins proudly* Obama’s brother-in-law. *his expression immediately changes* But I cannot be late or I’m gonna really get it this time. Last time I was 3 minutes late, Coach Robinson made me run around the track three times, wearing nothing but Vote Obama stickers.

(OOC: I'm a guy in real so I use the *he this* and *he that*. I prefer it much more than *Tangential this* and *this*).

Well i'm not too sure when it might come, but hopefully soon. I've got a dinner appointment with the Clintons tonight.

*Standing next to everyone that is around her, about to cross the road she couldn't help but over hear the conversation. She stares at the blank person next to her.*

The Clintons? So...how are they going to forget to invite me... *She says with a snap in her tongue. She eyes the person with a look that says I am more important than you. She roles her eyes, tosses her hair over her shoulders as she decides to stay on this side of the street while awaiting her cab*

*he shrugs and raises his brow at Sparkle* Maybe you didn't contribute millions of dollars to their campaign to get a free dinner.

*he narrows his eyes slightly at her* Or... maybe they know you're not a friend of their party!

*he turns to Tv_remote* And you, sir. What great deed did you do to get a free dinner with the Clintons? *he pauses a moment and smirks* Or maybe you're paying to be there so the dinner's not free either.

((now that I've thought of it, it makes more sense if we all pretend we wear masks to hide our real identities. Masks called "hf" and "tv_remote" and "tangential" or whatever. So gendered pronouns make sense... just be aware that "he" may turn out to be a "she" once unmasked... or vice versa :)))

*She raises her nose at the man speaking to her.* Look at me Sir. *she twirls her finger around her $18,000 dangling earring* Does it look like I am not a friend of their party? It's about time a woman stepped up and showed you men how it's done. *As she said those words she lifts her shoulder up to him in a teasing manner then smiled mockingly.*

*looks at bowser* Anything interesting in there?

So Sparkle are you trying to imply that us men in the party are doing something wrong? Interesting...

Well, *she lets a cab go by intrigued with her heated discussion* the Clintons have never went wrong in my eyes. That was one man that knew how delicate America is and he *she lets her hand run down the front of her tight body dress as if she were trying to smooth out rinkles* took care of her. All the men who ever treated America right had a strong, smart, powerful woman in his bed every night. *She winked at him and put her pearl necklace in between her teeth.*

*he rolls his eyes and then his eyes widen as he catches glimpse at the front page of the newspaper Bowser's reading* Oh my god! Sparkle's on the front page!!

*he leans in closer and reads the subtitles* Oh wait. False alarm. It's only Monica Lewinsky.

*he back onto the post of the bus stop and sighs* What's new, Bowser? Haven't seen you in a while since that last protest to fight for Civil Union rights.

(OOC: Haha! Very funny! :P )

*She turns away from the man pleased until he begans shouting. She hurries to look at the paper just to realize he was teasing her. She rolls her eyes back at him.*

In your dreams... *she flips her hair then turns her attention back to the road*

If you consider a crashing stock market predicting impending economic doom, a flawed health care system, the government turning into "big Brother", and a military abraod with no exit strategy as being "Interesting", then yeah... it's interesting.

((Okay, hearing no objection, this game shall commence in the night stage.))

Abruptly, as in a cartoon, the sun descends from the sky, at a velocity certainly not seen in a long time. The villagers take this is a bad omen, because the City Council has mandated the sun fall at a precise rate that was certainly less than what really happened; a fine was leveled on the celestial object, and it was scheduled for a rehabilitation session so that it might see the error of its ways.

The townspeople decide to go to sleep, because they are subsidized for maintaining nocturnal activities at proper hours. Everyone, that is, EXCEPT FOR THE LIBERTARIANS!!!!!!!!!

(And some of the random good guys. But they're not as melodramatic.)

((Get yer night orders in ASAP. For now, we'll not have time limits, but if things start getting annoying, I might institute them. Good luck!))
