(Edited to make sure everyone knows it was just a pre-game joke. No need to get on everyone's bad side already)

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there was a small village that was ruled harshly by a cruel sorcerer. None in the village could stand against him, so powerful were his magics, and he treated them like slaves, demanding that they serve him or face death or worse. The sorcerer told them that if any tried to run away, he would unleash a terrible curse upon the village.

For many years, this threat kept the poor villagers in line. However, one day, his cruelty was too much, and a young man chose to leave the village. He swore to his family that he would search the world for heroes to come back and free the village from the evil sorcerer's grasp, curse or no curse. And so he went, and for many months did he travel until at last he came to a great city where many heroes dwelled.

The young man went before the lord of the city and begged him for aid. And the lord, a noble man, agreed to send mighty warriors back with him to free the village from the sorcerer's rule.

And so the young villager was joined by many skilled heroes: a seer whose powers rivaled that of the sorcerer, an illusionist (reverse seer), who could fool enemies into exposing themselves, a priest whose holy magics allowed him to commune with dead spirits, a knight who was pure of heart, and a rogue who was a skilled fighter and acrobat, despite his untrustworthy mien.

As the six companions travelled the long journey back to the far off village, a dark raven flew ahead of them, reaching the sorcerer's tower well ahead of them. In its beak was a note of warning, for the sorcerer indeed had a spy in the great city.

When he learned of what had happened, the sorcerer's rage was great indeed. He opened his dark book of spells and chose a curse so vile that it was feared even by practicioners of the dark arts. But the sorcerer knew that he would need a great and evil power to stop the bold heroes. So he cast the spell over the village, and as the full moon shown down upon them, two of the villagers were overcome with a terrible curse. Their bodies grew hairy and muscular, their teeth grew long and sharp, their eyes glowed red, and their senses grew keen. The scent of blood was strong in them, and they felt hunger like never before. Helpless to deny the dark instinct overwhelming them, they fell upon their friends and families alike, tearing and ripping and gobbling up mounds of flesh to sate their feral appetites.

When the massacre was done, nearly half the village was dead or dying. The remaining villagers threw themselves upon the mercy of the sorcerer, but still his heart was cold. He had the werewolves, now bound to his will, jail the rest of the village within his tower. He vowed that until the heroes were defeated, a villager would die every full moon.

And so the six heroes, upon arriving at the village, found it to be in ruins. Heartbroken and in agony, the young villager led his companions to the tower, where they were confronted by the sorcerer and his two monstrous werewolves.

Oaths and barbs were traded, until fatefully the seer and sorcerer each casted a great spell at one another. The magics collided in a brilliant flash of light that knocked all nine combatants to the ground.

It is a strange and unpredictable thing, magic. For when the nine roused themselves they found that while they had memory of their own identity, they could not any of them recall who the others gathered were.

Except for the werewolves, who could smell the difference between themselves and the humans.

And thus the heroes, sorcerer, and werewolves found themselves in a rather confusing situation, where only through diplomacy would one side emerge victorious.

What follows is an accounting of that fateful battle...

Roles going out. Let's say that the first lynch will be at.... 8pm (GMT -4) on Friday. That should give enough time for people to know that the game is going on.

*She quickly wipes the dirt from her new dress and looks around. She looks confused and extends her hand to the person who is standing next to her looking just as confused as she is.* Hello. Have we met?

*He stands up slowly, absent-mindedly shaking Sparkle's hand while holding his other hand to his head*

I.. You seem vaguely familiar, but, I can't seem to recall anything of who you are. *He adjusts his spectacles* Truth be told, I don't remember who any of the others are either.
The freedom to be completely insane, also to lose the game.

Here today, gone from the face of the 'net tomorrow; such is the military life. Pardon my oscillating existence.

Mod's note: I'll wait until a majority have voted before determining when lynch deadline will be.

*Looks up from his chair near the wall* So its affected you folks too? I just can't remember any of you. Does anyone remember any better? I don't want to be trying to catch those wolves when I can't even remember who they are.

*she shakes her head then looks to everyone* So what shall we do? Will we just wait around for them to kill us all before doing something?
