Miss Dee, have a little understanding. These times are very trying to all of us. Some relieve the pressure through overindulging in wine, some through debauchery, and, today, these men chose fisticuffs as their outlet. It's... unfortunate, but no one's been seriously hurt in the scuffle, and the two men seem to have settled whatever their grievance was by it.

Now, what I'd really like to know is what our Sheriff has learned in his investigations....

winceing in pain he makes a pitifull atempt at standing again and manages to get to his feet and rests against the wall and smiles at Sparkle waiting for his answer he then looks up

Well in my own investigations. I have concluded that it isn't Yo, Surly Seko, Spider, nor Rainking. *sighs* and gap shortens daily.

she slowly walks outside from the Sheriff's office, her head down. she looks up and searches for Alex. Walking over to him she whispers in his ear

Oh and Mr. Floyd. That doesn't belong to you. And I would appreciate that you don't touch it again. And in fact. You walked in my house without my permission.

he turns his head to Spider

I want Mr.Flyod arrested under the charges of breaking and entering. He has no right in my house especialy without my permission and while I am unconscience. No matter the circulstances. You broke the laws by breaking and entering my home. Then you stole by taking my cane. You will have to be arrested. Murders or not. You need to think before you act. That is a clear law he just broke.

Alex stares at Mikki, his face very serious. When he responds to her hushed words, his words, though perhaps meant for Mikki alone, are loud enough to hear by most in the area.

"And you believe him? You believe that man even for a second?"

His fists clench and he turns his back on her.

"You are telling me that that... scoundrel prompted you for sex... treated you like a whore... and then said that that was all I viewed you as?"

He spins round on her again, his face barely containing his anger behind his set jaw.

"What the hell do you take me for? Do you even know me at all? I thought that I had treated you better than that, I thought I'd made myself clear! For the love of Christ! I had you in my house... I gave you my bed to rest in while I leaned against raw wool. I refrained... God how I refrained from trying to treat you wrong..."

He looks at the tears streaming down her face.

"And now you would take the words of a cad to your heart before my tender administrations..."

He tears his gaze away with a sigh of disgust.

"I will have words with Spider on this to be sure... but you owe me an explanation my dear... not now though... I'm too angry and I'll not be made the fool like RainKing and Slayer, I won't."

He walks away from her to his shop and slams the door.

with tears streaming down her face, her jaw is dropped as she listens and watches him. as he slams the door, she turns towards everyone. with their eyes on her, she turns and runs into her house..

having heard what dragon said from her window, she storms out her door and walks up to Dragon Let me tell you a few things.. I am NOT one of Sparkle's girls. I am a friend of hers. I borrowed some clothes from her. I didn't like the rags that I was wearing. It is NOT my fault that the Sheriff assumed that I would give it up to him. He has been told that it won't happen. Cant you just mind your own business for once?

I want that man arrested for breaking and entering my house while I was unconscience. And for theft for leaving my house with my cane. Than thing is worthe more than he will ever make in a year.

Mr. Dragon Slayer, Mr. Floyd did not need to go into your home for your sword-cane, as you drew it on Mr. Rainking, right here in the middle of the street, as you may recall from the very beginning of your brawl.

Now, please, will everyone calm down? I know I, for one, would still like to hear what the Sheriff has to say about the suspects!
