*seems a little calmer now that the initial shock has worn off* "AoM, if you don't feel right about voting, then don't. Myself, I think it's Okud, because if we're going on the assumption that Farmer was definitely a werewolf, then we know he had to have an accomplice. From what I saw Okud was the only one who seemed openly allied with him, so..." *shrugs* "But I don't want you to feel like you're being pressured into anything you're not comfortable with."

Well, as soon as I saw Nixit was eaten, I knew that I'm in trouble, being the only one that disapproved him. Nixit dead, the
mob turns to lynch me as the number one suspect, that was werewolfes bet, and by the looks of it, they are winning. I waited to see who will cast the first stone. It was Nick, but Mortaine placed the bait, and Nick swallowed it. That would not be enough to accuse her, and I would have voted for one of the sleepers, but later she started spreading all those lies about me. And it looks like you believe her, you fools! You just give the werewolfes a day to breath, and two of your fellow vilalgers: me and the poor soul who's gonna be eaten alive tonight.
*points at Lumin* You are going to have some explaining to do tomorrow, about your obstinate theory of Farmer and Okud working together and being the werewolfes. Look at her how she preached that we shouldn't vote if we are not sure, then hurry to vote for those who didn't trust her, simply out of revenge. But I'm not going to vote for you, Lumin, I have bigger fish to fry. Everyone, keep an eye on Mortaine.
I petty you people, you don't have any chance against the werewolfes. You're just a flock of sheep, waiting to be slaughtered.
*spits on the floor, then steps outside and lies on his back, looking at the sky*

The villagers being surprisingly unanimous, Okud didn't stand much of a chance of defending himself. Since no one seemed to be objecting to his lynching, there was no need to drag out the meeting any longer. They bound and gagged him and started arguing about what should be the best way to end his miserable little life.
"I think good olde hanging would be nice", said one.
"Nah, we tried that yesterday, let's throw him in the pond", said another.
"Come on people, be descent, let's chop off his head!"
"Descent? It sure wasn't descent what those bastards did to Mikki. I say we cut him into cubes, legs first!"
Okud was listening to this all eyes wide, whimpering silently but no one paid any attention. Eventually the hopelessness of this monstrous situation made his eyes fill with tears. He couldn't stop them from coming. He tried to sniffle the liquid mucus from filling his nose but there was too much.
When the debate came to an end, they noticed that Okud had already choked to death. Some believed he might be just faking but all the poking and kicking gave no response. Just in case they built a pyre, set the corpse on top of it and set it on fire with the help of gasoline. For hours it burned, filling the village with sickning fumes and sending people to take shelter inside, coughing and red-eyed.
By nightfall the pyre had reduced to cinders, with only blackened bones left of poor Okud.

Nick was missing. His bedroom was a mess, showing signs of struggle but not a bit of blood. The house was soon searched, but as you can guess, the corpse could not be found.
Back outside, the villagers' attention was caught by the door to the town church being slightly open.
"I don't like the looks of this", said one of the villagers, "they're leading us like sheep."
"But we must enter - What if he's still alive in there, dying because of our hesitation?" said another.
Grumbling they entered and instantly noticed a pale body on the altar. He wasn't moving. When they sneaked closer they saw the bulging eyes, the look of perfect horror and despair on the bluish face, reminding them of what Okud had looked like the previous day. It was clear that his death had been caused by suffocation for his injuries were limited to small bruises. The futile attempts to break free from his bonds had only made the wires bite deep into the flesh of his wrists.
When searching for what had choked him, they found a crumpled piece of paper from the back of Nick's throat. When straightened up it turned out to be a page torn from the Bible. The following part was underlined with red:
"And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him; Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again."
Leviticus (ch. XIX, v. 19-20)

*stares miserably at the proceedings* "So I guess we were wrong about Okud. Either that or Farmer was innocent..."
"I admit I didn't know Nick as well as Nixit, so it's hard to be as upset, but the way he was killed, and the house of God defiled in the process...it's just sickening." *looks at the blood-stained church and shudders* And how could an animal tie somebody's wrists, or even want to? This damn werewolf is toying with our minds..."
*sighs* Well, at least we can give the victim a proper burial this time... *goes to help Mortaine*

This.... creature... is vindictive as well as bloodthirsty. And far too cunning by the light of the moon.
Obviously, we were wrong, at least once, in our votes. Much as I hate to admit it, I was probably wrong about Okud, and we may have been wrong about Farmer as well.
Farmer had voted for Lumin. That night, Nixit, who voted for Farmer but was not terribly vocal about his vote, was eaten. Lumin was spared.
Okud had voted for me. That night, Nick, who voted for Okud but, again, was not as vocal about his vote, was eaten. I was spared.
Obviously, the killings are not simple revenge for anyone lynched. If they were, then the more vocal or influential voters would have been eaten, or at the very least, one of the people the lynchees had voted for would have been eaten (assuming one of the lynched people was a wolf, the other would have taken revenge on the person they voted for, wouldn't they?)
The baner, meanwhile, if he or she still lives, has not been effective in preventing any deaths. Personally, I don't find this surprising-- if I were the baner, I wouldn't know who to protect, night from night; the wolves have been too unpredictable. The killings seem to be targeting the middle of the crowd.
I assume the Seer, if he or she lives, is doing what he or she can to protect themselves, and hope that he or she can connect with the baner soon for protection and alliance.

I think it's the whole hiding in the shadows thing that raises most of my suspicions. Other than the sleepers you are the least active person here. Someone who's neighbors are dying every night should be a little more asertive in finding the murderers. Unless they have nothing to fear that is.
