New Board/Forum

New Board/Forum

Following on from a thread in the general discussion forum - I'm not sure if this is entirely the right place for this but I am proposing a new Forum, in the public Discussion Forums section.

Call it 'In-Game Discussion' (or any name you choose the name is unimportant but the function is)
This would contain all threads that relate to in game events, characters, locations. There would be no change to the 4+ day rule just one location for all related threads.. Included threads would be I Am... I Was... Confess your Cantr Sins type of subjects...

Thus OOC material, announcements, discussion about changes in game mechanics, important changes etc. could continue in the General Discussion without being interfered with by IG content. People would be able to keep track of the important stuff whilst avoided chatter about in game events if they so chose...

Maybe trial it in one language... doesn't have to be in english to see if it works?

I like this idea very much. I think it would solve some problems that seem to be becoming more and more troublesome in the General Discussion thread.

While I doubt it would actually solve any of the problems we have, and would probably raise new questions, I do think this is a good idea. I will propose the idea to the people who actually run the forums (don't be fooled into thinking that is the CD... we're just lowly mods, whilst various GAB members run the board... but I'm getting off topic again...), and we'll see what they say...
