Uh... all of the language forums used to have the CD as it's moderator, along with someone who actually UNDERSTANDS the language.
I used to be the french forum moderator, but now I am not.
Is this on purpose? Seeing as how there are no french CD members, I doubt it.

It's probably on purpose, I doubt that it happened accidently. We now have this moderation requests forum, anyway. It's easy enough to use a translator if necessary . . .

Does this mean that Resources will lose their moderation of the Suggestion forum too?

As to any of that, I'm afraid I have no idea.

The relevant departments will still moderate the support forums, while the CD, with any needed LD assistance, will moderate the non-English discussion forums.

No offense intended to whoever made this decision... but it was a stupid one.

You are now thickening the Cantrian bureaucracy.

I am having trouble putting my frustration about this into words so... UGH!

online translators are no replacement for people who can speak the language, online translators frequently spill forth the most innane and incorrect translations immaginable.

Nick, why the double posting?

The members of the CD are trained / supervised in their moderating, others are not, so we want to keep only the CD responsible. Through the moderation request forum anyone can make a request for moderation and when help is needed, the CD can cooperate with the LD.
