Due to some unfortunate circumstances I have had to kill another character...

How is it that I could drag theliving character twice, on my own and yet now I have killed them I can't even come close to draging the body... even after a rest to lose the tiredness...

I seem to be able to drag older bodies but not this one..

Any hints?

As bodies get older, they lose mass/weight. Also, you might have been able to drag the living charrie if they were much weaker than you, but a dead body, I believe, is just weight.

Characters weigh a fraction of 60 kilos divided by thier health. Bodies weigh 60 k.

Ever walk a deer out? It's pretty accurate.

Physical strength also affects drag weight of a living character.

If the live person were injured, would he be 'lighter' than if he were dead?

A dead body has no means of self-propulsion, it can't even stand up on its own. Thus, you will be moving the mass of the body entirely by your own force.

An injured person is still alive, and thus, is on two feet, and capable of walking.
If someone is severly injured, they won't be capable of resisting you frog-marching them wherever you want.

But the body does lose weight over time? I didn't realize that, how long does it take? And does it work the same if it's inside?

It's very irritating with the dead bodies weighing more but it makes RL sense, I guess we have to put up with it until we find someone who's awake at the same time.

My experience say that it is easier to drag a wounded char when a healthy one. Shouldent it be vice vrese?

Technically, yes, but the healthy person puts up little resistance as they are asleep, but the injured puts up even more less... lol excuse the grammar.

Another example of wierd cantreality... an alive person should be far harder to drag than a dead body, they can hold onto things for starters...! You drag not escort of frogmarch...

Still that's the way it is ...

Yes, everyone should be able to drag a dead body. All average people can do so in real life. You are right. But dragging a living person who's not in effect willing to be dragged is another matter. So it doesn't really make sense.
