Is it possible to build a building lock inside a room/building where one already exist...

Eg I have key to the room (and others do too) I wish to build another lock so that I can provide limited access to the current key holders....

Does that make sense?? :?

I understand what you're saying, but no, I don't think that's possible.

I believe that if you try to start a project for a lock where there already is one, you get an error message. If it is possible to test something for yourself before you post a support question, you might as well.

I am 100% sure it is impossible, sorry. There was some idiotic newspawn when I spawned a character called Tom Curlane a couple of days ago who locked himself inside a building, stole 4 pages of activities worth of weapons and tools, stole locks, shields, a steel long sword, and much more. I hid inside a storage building for days building a lock- I said, to make things safe I may as well try putting a second on to keep away from this idiot called Dabious. Doesn't work.

(yes that was a rant slash reply to your question  )

N-Aldwitch - Its best not to talk about recent in-game events on the forums - especially as they occurred within the past 4 days

And this from a guy who suggested the extension of four day rule.

Lol, yes true, but if you recall- I said the event should not be discussed until it is OVER...

It no longer effects anyone by saying that, that's why it is okay by my ... 'restrictions' :P.

It's edited, though. (unless my wireless cut out after I posted this... which it wont!)

Whether or not it affects anybody, that was a clear breach of the 4-day rule. And when editing a post, delete the offending text. Whiting it doesn't count.

Actually, Sho, the event happened at least 7-8 days before I posted that, so it wasn't a breach. The death of Tom Curlane, my 20-year-old character, perhaps was a breach (and can't recall if I mentioned that. Can't be stuffed checking either!!! :D )
