Easy enough question. I just realised I don't know the answer, and I would very much like to know - do I keep on the dirt bike, or run back to my boat?

Can from land vehicles, can't from boats.

I didn't think they could at all... Just doesn't seem natural that they could..

I'd like to see it be able to attack from boats, but that would give boats an unfair advantage.

Oh, and you cant' attack in town from a vehicle. That's different. You can attack on the road, but not in town. I don't know why that is, if it's game balance but still allows people to chase down thieves on bikes and such, but that's the way it works.

So I'm on my bike and the bears can still eat me?

No, you are safe on a land vehicle from animal attacks whether you are travelling or not

You can attack animals whilst travelling on a land vehicle but not when in a town.

People travelling on foot can be attacked by animals

Oh.. you meant that you can attack animals from land vehicles.. I knew that... That's not so unnatural to me... I think you misunderstood that Coopa was asking if you could be attacked by animals while you're sitting in a land vehicle.

It's nice to know though.

But seriusly, did I get this right then:
Outside: Hey look! Man-flesh! You can hunt and animals can smack you around.
In a building: Safe, duh!
On a land vehicle (bike, car, etc.): Safe from animals, not from people. You can hunt anything (including people) while traveling, but have to get off while in a town?
On a ship: Safe from animals, not from people. Have to get off to attack anything? (Attacking while traveling doesn't really play into it.)
