Moving Town

The following happened in Seatown

1519-7.31: You see eYe leaving Seatown, taking paved road to Seatown Gardens.
......
1519-7.30: Eyes says: "I need to go find that thief. But don't let this man get away. Deal with him please. "

The problem with this is that the character Eyes is no longer in seatown, though he never appeared to leave. Based on the name I would suspect that the eYe leaving Seatown was indeed the event for Eyes leaving. However, when I click on eYe I get the following renaming option "The current name of this place is eYe. Enter the new name:"

I thought towns couldn't move?

eYe is the name of the character's tandem bike.

Shouldn't that be reflected in the note for changing the name. referring to the bike seems misleading (apparently). Thanks, for clarifying.
