unwanted lock

unwanted lock

I've just built a longboat and theres a lock on it already. Nobodys even been on it yet.

Theres no key and you can change it from locked to unlocked without one, however this doesn't actually lock or unlock the boat.

Its been awhile since I've built a boat but I don't think this is normal.

All boats automatically come with a lock. If you started the boat project, the key will be in your inventory under the "Keys" tab or whatever it's titled. If the key is in your inventory, you can walk on and off without locking or unlocking it, but no one else can get on if it's locked. It sounds like you might want to check your inventory.
