A woman in her fourties, apparently bending over too much

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: a woman in her fourties
# She is in her fourties and is efficiently working on project 'Repairing iron shield'. She wears: a pair of foot-shaped hide pieces tied to the feet by strings of some local material;
# a skimpy two-part garment made of various animal hides sewn together that barely covers the top half of the chest and the groin;
# an elegant dress of fine silk clings to the body, starting close around the neck and, flaring at the hips, hangs beautifully to the ankles. Well fitted sleeves end at the wrists and small pieces of embroidery decorate the bodice.

Not my char, so I shouldn't be able to see her undergarment while she's wearing the dress. Something change in the code?

-Tailor Mael :D

Lol... I think I've always seen undergarments on chars even when they have something that would cover it.. I always thought it was weird and that's why some of mine stopped wearing undergarments after they got nicer garments...

The code for hiding clothes hasn't been changed for almost a year

Hermitess is correct - this has been the case for a long time

The extension of clothes categories from 7 to 16 broke the existing code

Originally the categories where ordered from the external (hats - category 1) to the internal (underpants - catgeory 7) The newer categories effectively have no potential to hide earlier categories.

Can we finally ditch the hiding since it doesn't even work properly? Surely players are smart enough to know which items their characters are not supposed to see?

Too late ... ProgD had a quiet word with the woman in question and she descretely rearranged herself, but little did she know that all the other chars saw her and checked they were all tucked in as well

Clothes hiding now works for other observers as originally intended

I'm aware of the RD discussions about clothes hiding and ProgD are fine with developing a more flexible system but in the meantime we'd rather the code worked as intended.
