Cantr Downtime

The downtime today has resulted in nothing showing up in the events page anew.

This can easily be abused and Cantr should be locked until resolved.

That is, what is happening in game may or may not be going through, but it cannot be seen. Things like stealing with this special cloak would be to abuse a game bug maliciously, and should not be done. My advice is not to play your characters until the events page is cleared up.

ps: Since this problem is already reported, please only post relevant details--it is known that most accounts/character events pages are not showing up, or in some cases, showing up with MySQL errors--otherwise, please refrain from making a chat of this topic.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too, I had a project disappear, and 200 grams of iron with it...

It was a bit weird to notice that after sleeping overnight and all, the recent events are still from the same hour. How much time was lost?

About 8 RL hours lost . Some server processes will have still gone through (projects, travel)

The time seemes to be wrong also. I think 0.00 cantr time normally is about 02.00 (AM) GMT.

Will this go back or stay this way?

The time will probably stay the same, as it has in the past when it's had problems... It's just one of those things that happens from time to time... the hours get switched around and it's a different timetable... an extra long day...

"The time is out of joint: O cursed spite, That ever I was born to set it right!"

Did Jos say that or..., who was it..?

Does it change the update times aswell?

Ehm I think most processes are run on a different clock from the main time you see displayed... but you'd need confirmation from someone more knowledgeable than me on that...

They may shift, because sometimes time problems affect them... and I don't know if this would be one of the times... I do know that the past two process updates didn't go through at their regular time.. Cantr only being mostly fixed just before the last one...

The next one is just coming up so I guess we'll see if they pick up at the same intervals as before or if they've shifted again slightly...

Again though, these are only my observations...

Update for boattravel is "normal". At least the same as before downtime.
