I recently found timber...which says with an axe, I can collect 3000g per day..when I tried..I got this message..

ERROR: You cannot farm more than 819\g at once.=

It says you can collect only 10 g without tools, is that correct, as well?

That seems to be a bug then. I believe though that you can only collect timber with an axe and that it is almost impossible to collect with nothing. So it could be erroring becaus of this.

Does your character actually have an axe?

They can now be found throughout Cantr. Where it is you'll have to find out in game? But then again I don't know either.

Even with the axe it is erroring to how Sunni described.

It would be silly to restrict the collection amount to that for hand picked timber, because someone could simply go pick up an axe or an axebearer may come to help on the project.

Has resin been added to a lot of places too? I've seen it in two forests now and its not listed on the maps.

Timber isn't something that can or should be gathered by hand. But if it is erroring out with an axe than you might want to report it to Programming. Perhaps another Resource member who has access to the database can check it out but I don't have access anymore.

Does the resource page tell you it can't be gathered by hand? That'd be handy for people to know, since a lot of the oher langs don't get into the same forums...

It <b>can</b> be gathered by hand, only at a very low 10 gram a day. With the axe, it's 3000 grams a day. The problem is there's a <b>bug</b> so that even with the axe you can only do projects of 819 grams maximum.

Resin was added awhile ago.. but wouldn't be on all of the old maps...

Well, RD won't help here, cause its hardcoded. Size limit of single project of any type is equal to daily gathering rate multiplied by 81.92.

I can fix this, but it seems strange to me that tool boosts gathering 300 times, so I'll wait for RD confirmation if this tool rate is correct.

Well, the log cabin does cost 50,000 grams of timber, so it does make some sense.
