timber translation in Dutch

A stone quarry requires timber as a resource.
Timber is different from wood.
Yet both timber and wood have been translated as 'hout' in Dutch (at least; the project requirements mention 'hout' while no wood can be added).

It's pretty difficult to search the vast sylvan areas of the Dutch/French island for timber if both wood and timber are translated the same.

Could someone from The Language Department check it out and change 'hout' (timber) to 'timmerhout' for timber and keep 'hout' for wood.

Thank you!
