Empty Storage Rooms

Postby javacougar » Sat Nov 26, 2005 5:01 pm

I sent a bug report in a few days ago about this but have not heard anything back yet. One of my characters who owns a business which has two storage rooms, just recently went in and noticed that everything from both rooms was missing. It was around 150Kg of stuff. My character obviously suspected theft, and he took a day or two to check with town gaurds and his employees to make sure that no one stole anything or seen anything fishy. By my calculations it would not even have been possible for someone to have come in and out that many times without anyone noticing in the very short periods of time that the building was unlocked. Is anyone aware of this bug? My character has a full inventory of what was in the room if you need.

I can find no record of a support call logged, about this issue
I apologise in advance if that has been mislaid

Please could you email details to bugs@cantr.net or send a PM to me here on the Forum . Please let me know the name of your character, the specific location and anything else which may be relevant. The inventory may also be useful

After investigating further I can confirm there is no bug.
The dissappearence of the materials in this case is due to valid in game events .

So does this mean that there was a bug and a thief? That would make much more sense. Please let me know what's happened. Thanks for all your help.

I think what Chris said means that there is no bug, and that everything that happened was caused by legitimate game mechanisms. You'd better PM him if you want the details.

Just to clarify; the stuff that I was missing "magically" returned less the amount that one person could carry. It may have been that the stuff was there all along but my character could just not see it for some reason.

This has gone past the point where public forum posts will help get the problem solved; either it's a bug, in which case only ProgD can do anything about it, or you've made a mistake somewhere, in which case only ProgD has the logs to tell you what actually happened.
E-mail the Programming Department at bugs@cantr.net with any relevant information, and they'll take it up with you privately.

javacougar I have PM'd you with a few more details but publicly I will state it was not a bug . Legitimate in game activity account for the Theft. In my investigations however, I had identified a potential CRB invloving another Player which the Players Dept later confirmed.

The Resources have been moved back at the request of the Players Dept
