I thought the capacity of a tandem bike was 2 people+30 kilos worth. For one particular tandem bike, Ranger Service Transport 2, the capacity is the old 2 people+15 kilo limit. I think the reason is because it was prepared before the modification in size limit, but was finished afterwards. This may occur with Ranger Service Transport 3 as well, as it is under construction from a very early date.

It is NOT 2 people with a full load. It has always been 2 people that could probably carry half each. I don't know the exact number but what do you mean by old? I don't think it has ever been changed, but I may be wrong.

There is only one variety of Tandem Bike , they all have the same capacities . I don't believe they have been changed .
