Where's my mining skill?

"He is in his fifties and is working on project 'Digging for coal'."
It used to say the skill level as well... where did that go? Am I still an expert, even though it won't tell me?

If you look around, you'll see others with skills.
Your level may not show up immediatly, and I'm not sure if it's a function of the project to return that information, so older projects may behave differently.
Let someone who knows what they're talking about give you the official word, but everything should be ok.

It's a new project, and 3 people in the location have invisible skills...
However, it does seem to be isolated to mining in this location... the other skills are fine and visible.

Currently only about half the raw resources which can be gathered have a skill associated with them . This will change as the Resource Department decide upon which skill type is relevant .
Old projects started before skills were introduced will also have no skill associated with them even if that resource now has a skill association

I always thought coal was associated? WIth mining?
The same as with stone. Am I wrong?
And this project was started no more than 2 days ago.

Yes you are wrong ... on both counts
Coal currently has no skill assoicated with it
Stone extraction is governed by the Digging Skill and not the Mining Skill

If someone with the knowledge (presumably RD or ProgD) will make available a list of resources affected by each skill, I will wiki it.

Most of the available infomation is already in the wiki , in the detailed descriptions of skills.

Yes, I meant digging. Shush...
And yep... I made the mistake of applying logic to Cantr... of course the digging skill doesn't cover the digging of coal...

Racetyme: Thank you, I am quite aware what's on one of the oldest pages of the wiki.
The specific resources are not always listed. It certainly isn't listed anywhere, for example, that coal has no associated skill. Also, a detailed list would allow me to go into the individual resource listings and add information there - right now I don't have enough confidence in the wiki's list.
