Note problem

I have been working on editing an edition of the Hobbes encyclopedia IC, but after I edit the note and try to view it, a large portion of the end of my message is cut off. I have written the whole thing out in Word, tried copying and pasting it in, as well as writing the whole thing out on the note. Nothing works. And yes I am hitting the store button.

Maybe there's a maximum length for notes?

I hope not, but if so someone please tell me so I can delete some of the skipped lines in it.

Yes, there is a limit to the length of notes. That's all I know.

Alright, I am going to go check if that is the problem.

I'm still having problems, I deleted upwards of 90 lines of blankness, and yet only a few more sentences were able to fit. Any ideas?

90 lines of blankness would only give you 90 more characters, a few sentences.

There is a maximum overall limit of 65535 characters for any one note

That said there may be an issue with how much you can enter in the text box for input but as far as I know that's not the case

Damn. Well do spaces count as characters?

They do. When I have a character limit problem, the first things I kill are paragraph breaks and one of the two spaces that I always type after a period. Of course, I'm usually dealing with a rather small amount of cut material, so it may be more effective for you to skip that and go straight for editing the text shorter.

Alternatively, the Hobbes Encyclopedia could now come in multiple volumes.

I can cut out more spaces, I only need 717 more characters. Have to squeeze them in somewhere.

Nah, just divide them into several pages. I was writing in the end of a map and ran out of space, then I ditched the map and got more room.

I just deleted a paragraph that hobbes included that my char didn't think was so important. No biggie.

I hate Cantr.

Man, I hate this game so much...

EDIT: Is there a reason for the limit at 65535? Any chance of getting it raised?

You could put the enciclopedia into two volumes...
