So much for a floating crypt

The Jasper Trading Company longboat, which is currently docked to the Bandit's Mark galleon, has too much weight on it. A character who held only a ten gram key couldn't get on it... Could some of the bodies be moved back to the galleon?

Serves you right.

Maybe some of the bodies could be made lighter like they do when crypts fill up ... but, I thought the whole "brand new body ..." thing meant they would rot given enough time? That'd be the idea in-game solution to this problem, unless corpse rot has been disabled. If it does work, you should just have to wait.

In theory.

Good to know my character's old ship is being put to good use.
It might still be possible to get on board if you crowbar the lock and board empty-handed. Not much fun, though.

Thanks for the food, Sho.

While we're talking about boat stuff, if you bury a body on a boat is it the same as throwing it overboard? The weight just gets erased?

I'll look into that

And in practise ... Body rot is enabled , bodies do get lighter as they deteriorate... but its very slow so it would be a long wait

I believe that is the case , but I'll double check and get back to confirm or deny

Two bodies have been moved to the Galleon

Bodies buried on board are can be treated as being thrown overboard . They no longer contribute to weight calculations
