Logs

For a couple of projects that I want to engage in I need logs...but I have never heard of logs before. How does one get logs?

Run some experiment IG to find out...

I thought that was the old answer....I have figured it out to another resource that is needed....timber...that I don't know how to make or get. I have a suspicion you have to take wood with a wooden saw....however the wooden saw needs a wooden saw carriage which does not seem to exist. Also, I see now there are two large logs and two medium logs. One of each requires tools, the other does not. Anybody want to shed some light on it?

You can't make logs yet, because you can't make timber. There's a thread about it further down, I think.

Is there a way to fix this?
There are a few projects that require logs...and since we can't make timber we can't make logs...which means we can't make a stone quarry.
It would be cool to have a stone quarry.

While you are at it...make the stone quarry lockable so that only the owners can get in (like drills and such should be!)

*shrugs* Hey, I'm just a player, dude. I don't make or do anything; it just came up like two days ago in this forum, in relation to wooden planks, which is why I knew anything about it.

Timber is a resource and yes it can be found in game. Where? Your character will have to find it.

So the only way to make a drill-like thing for stone is with timber, which is probably on a new land?

A quarry is not a drill and the answer to the last question is yes unless I can convince Jos that to place timber on the other islands is a good thing but I have been unable to do so.
