A dead body in Quillanoi shows this;

This body seems to be at most half a year old. The cause of death seems to be a hit with a .

It doesn't say what the hit was from.

It was a longbow, if that helps to solve this problem.

I've seen it on other bodies killed with other weapons, too. Maybe it's just a way to let us know that the death wasn't natural.

I got a thief with a composite recurve bow.. Says same thing... Which is a shame 'cos i was looking forward to reading "Cause of death appears to be several arrows in chest"

"The cause of death seems to be a hit with the ladies."

Necro an old support posting to report a (belated) bug fix

Cantrian forensic science takes another leap forward as characters now have the ability to determine what weapon type dealt a killing blow .

hehe

Is it specific (like longsword, broadword etc...) or non-specific (e.g. sword, bow...)?

As tempting as that is, I thought asking would be less of a CRB...

My own in-game characters are all in areas where there have been no violent deaths recently so I can't check it in-game myself . :)

I won't mention the details of the other two informational type fixes/new features added this evening . I'll just see if anyone notices

We've been able to see that for quite some time now, precisely how my character does inspections ;)

I knew we could see the item but wasn't sure if we could tell how old or used it was. I rarely look since about 70% of the time I'm using a Blackberry and it's incredibly slow to do anything other than talk out loud...

Anyway, back on topic (which was actually off topic). What were the other changes?

I suppose it would be silly to ask how Cantr characters can tell what metal a weapon was made of?

Just kidding - good work.

Nah.. ProgD have been too open and informative recently :) it'll be nice to see if anyone notices .

Let us have our little game Stan .

(at least one is so basic that people probably think it's always been there )
