I hope I'm on the right topic but, I'm kinda new to cantr and I would appreciate it if someone could help me with a situation I'm having.
I have all my chars walking around with bone shields and other items easily made. I don't know how to come about steel or iron. And some places are making it difficult to gather some materials.

The party line is "Find out in game"

That means ask in character.

Easiest way would be to find some maps and head for population centers. It's not overly hard to do, and a bone shield isn't all that bad anyhow.

Good luck and have fun playing!

It's all part of the game Slayer... you'll have to cope in character.

Firsat off, welcome to the game Slayer.
Second, I suggest reading theCantr FAQ, which might help you.
Third I suggest reading the forum, there is some useful stuff buried in here somewhere...
Fourth, if you still need an answer contact a staff member. You can PM me if you need to, I try my best to help.
Fifth and final point, enjoy the game!

Remember that the game is a society simulator so try talking with other people. Most are willing to offer jobs or help so long as you remember to stay in character.

Surly sixth point was "Find out in game", too.

Some things even staff can't answer for you, there are trivial questions such as "How much of 'this' do I eat a day?" - No one can tell you, really. That's something your character has to discover for themselves. If we were to tell you, it would influence your decision making in game, and that would be a breach of the Capital Rule, which you agreed to abide by when you joined the game.

However, you know, there are some things which NEED to be told to you. As to the implementation of the Cantr FAQ, which Surly has been nice enough to link you to. If you have any FAQ related questions, I'm your man.
