I have asked for the bogged up Chambers of the Dead in Krif to be cleared for several weeks now.

I know this is the wrong forum, but I haven't even gotten a response yet!

(By the way, you should change the way corpses flood up rooms so that you don't have to waste time on these kinds of problems.)

Pirog quit bitching.

By bitching, I mean logging a perfectly acceptable complaint.

While I suspect that the Prog will help at some point, they did ask last time or the time before that the Krif society find a way to solve the problem IC before it could get to a point where OOC assistance is needed.

One solution for the future might be to have only one designated person allowed to begin dragging a body into that building, and that person could have the duty of keeping track of exactly how many bodies are in each room.

Perhaps a rule could be instated that demands that a certain number fewer bodies go into a room than the room can hold, so that the room won't get bogged even if a living visitor falls asleep inside and needs to be dragged out.

Perhaps the front door could be locked, and those wishing to go inside to mourn could go be let in only one at a time or something, so that people can't accidentally block each other in.

Since Krif has many buildings, perhaps one could serve as a place where bodies rest in state, so that they don't accidentally get buried, while someone judges if a new room needs to be built in the Chamber building before new bodies are brought in. This could ensure that the entry room never has bodies in it waiting for a space to go.

...or perhaps the programmers can redesign the poorly functioning and totally unrealistic system that allowes people to jam enough bodies inside a room to not be able to remove them again.

To me it doesn't seem like such a system would be hard to design. Simply put in a limit on how many things can fit in a room and leave a void (enough for one or two people to enter the room) that can't be filled up by items or bodies.

But for now I would be happy to see the Chambers simply unjammed, since the blocked entrance is cauing people trouble.

There's complaining. And there's flaming. This is the latter.

Wrong forum, which won't help get attention, Pirog, and you'll not get a response because the Programming Department - who, I'll remind you are VOLUNTEERS - just like the rest of us - are having some time off.

CD: LOCKED. (Revanael)

I'm sorry, Pirog ... the ProgD is having issues with having only a few members staff who all also have very busy duties outside Cantr. We would like to have a real professional quick response all the time, but are unable to do so. Bare with us :) ...

Now, could you please resend the email about these bodies to bugs@cantr.net and I'll try to look into it asap.

Thanks Jos!

A straight answer is all I wanted, so now I'm calm and peaceful again :)

Did a programmer just apologize?
