I manufactured a string jig and there is no button to use it. Normally, there is a button with a cross in front of such things but there is none.

I think string jigs are required to make bowstrings, not to make actual string. I know that there's another machine that makes string.

Edit: That is, I think it works like an anvil. No button, you just need ot have it around.

Industralist would be correct. Since we cannot yet have machines produce objects then we find loopholes in the programming in order to make it work.
