1013-0: You get attacked by a mountain goat, and you lose 1072 percent strength. You saved 28 percent using your iron shield.
Shouldn't that charachter have died at least 10 times?

Haha, yes... I laughed when I saw this a little while ago:
1013-2: You get attacked by a moose, and you lose 1290 percent strength. You saved 10 percent using your wooden shield.
My character was barely damaged at all.[/quote]

I got the same thing with a mountain goat.
Interestingly, a different character was attacked a couple weeks ago, and said his damage was 23%, but the bar only moved .0023% instead. This little bit of damage has never healed.
This character also seems to only be able to do about half the damage with a composite recurve as another character who has one, although his damage is hardly moved, and he is only a touch tired.

Yes, I've confirmed even wilder variations in skills with the low-level bone spear, for characters displaying no damage or tiredness at all. The range appears to be between 6 and 26, results reproduced consistently several times, which in my opinion is way way excessive and completely destroys the modicum of equality which the game used to have. If I do decide to leave, it will be because of this issue.
It probably deserves a thread in it's own right.

It might deserve a thread...but hang in there. It will create very interesting dynamics later in the game, when people realize they are stronger, they will become guards and such...or bullys. It could end up really cool, even though it is somewhat distressing, on the verge of "wrong" right now.
