quotation marks

Postby Chrissy » Sun Nov 07, 2004 6:13 pm

When I type something outloud in the game, the quotation marks are how they should be. Example: "Pass the carrots please." But when I type a private message it looks like this, example: ,,Pass the carrots please." The quotation mark is at the bottom, at the beginning of the sentence.

Is this happening with anyone else or does anyone know why it's happening?

Thank you :D. I'll proceed to play. I didn't want to be the only one with messed up sentences. Do you think it only looks like that to the person typing it? Because someone typed something to my char and theirs appeared to be normal. I asked them OOC if mine looked right but I didn't get a response yet. They probably didn't know what the hell i was trying to explain. lol. I worded it better here.

Sorry, my bad, I fixed it. Even already said things should look ok now.
I was adding language-specific quotation marks, e. g. << >> ones for French... and marks on the bottom (where they belong! ;-) ) for German and Dutch. Seems like I was over-enthusiastic, changing one item that shouldn't have been changed.

Oh! :D . I feel slightly like a jerk for saying "how they should be" lol. Thank you for your responses and see, some of us learned something new. No harm done.
