Turn Reports are missing

If I am not mistaken,
Turn reports for 948, 949, and 950 have not made it to my email address. I have clicked the button, and it is gone from my main screen, but the reports have not arrived.

Actually, I think it's a problem with the Cantr Mailing lists. I'm not sure, but have you been getting any of the Forum Replu Notifications (If you've subscribed to recieve them)? I haven't been, and I also haven't been getting any e-mails from either turn reports that I choose to send myself, OR from the departments I'm involved in. I think it's clogged... but I don't think it's just me having this problem, I hope not, I don't want to seem crazy.

This is not good. No turn reports, AND no 'Show Further Back' button. I find the turn reports invaluable as history. Now I can't remember two days ago, and my characters aren't like that.

So I guess the turn reports are a thing of the past, since they don't come anymore, and there is no apparant interest in this thread.
It has been said that the database only holds 5 days worth of information. If that is still the case, then information is now being lost forever, and some of my characters have to alter their actions.

I care, but I didn't think it was worth adding anything.
Fix the email system!

In real life, do you think everyone remembered history in their heads? Or maybe they wrote it down? (Or maybe they requested turn reports, and got sent to the loony bin

)

IRL they weren't trying to remember several different lives worth of information...most weren't anyway.

I guess everybody must start keeping diaries now. At least the ones that do something. No turn reports might be a good thing since I've saved them all ever since I joined and I got a whole folder full of them though I never read them.

I just got one for day 953, maybe it is fixed?

Yes. It was fixed this morning.
I was talking to Jos, and strangely he had no idea about the entire thing. There was some... uhh... let's see if I remember all the technical babble. The mailing list was looking for something, and it couldn't find it, so it stopped sending out e-mails.
Whatever, something like that. Anyway, there aparently was a huge back-log of unsent mail awaiting for the error to be fixed, Jos fiddled with it, and he says that all the old mail should be sent out. (However, I didn't receive any of mine, so personally, I think he accidently PURGED everything and it all got deleted. Woops.)
Anyway, you should be receiving e-mails now, from all mailing lists.
You can all bow down to Jos and I

- Please, one at a time...

I find that very hard to believe, it's been in this thread for days.

It may not seem like much, 5 days worth of turn reports, but to someone like me (and I'm sure many of you) who has a few very busy or important characters, and a real life that severely limits time spent in the game, those reports were sometimes the only way to effectively maintain a character's memory. I have way too much going on in my life to remember every event in my 8 character's lives. This is a sad day if the reports were actually deleted.
I have said it before and I'll say it again. With all of the changes introduced into the game, there always seems to be side effects that cause problems. These usually get fixed sooner or later, but it makes playing that much more difficult, with having to RP around uncontrollable occurances. I don't know if the mail problem is related to someone's error in implementing something, but if it was, that should be cause for concern.

It wasn't.
It would also be appreciated if you kept in mind that Cantr is entirely run by volunteers, who spend hours and hours a week to make it all run as best as they can, and who sometimes are busy with other things outside Cantr as well ...

Let's blame it on that Cron Daemon guy.
