Docking and Moving

Ok, so if your really close to a moving ship can you dock with it? Im currently trying to dock a boat with another one that is moving, my boat is moving his boat is moving... but im pert far from it, if i am closer can i dock without it being stopped... cause if not this is gonna suck
Hope you all understood that, im on a no sleep thing again and i tend to babble when i do that.

Ok I think he meant.

The thing is I am a "pert" far from it, so if I am closer will i be able to dock with it, without stopping the other boat... Because if not it will suck."
I think that is what he meant.

As Thomas staded, it's not possible, but I'd really like to see it implemented. Boats rarely lie dead in the water. :S
*remembers the "pirates and boarding thread" from a few months ago*.

Yeah...it kind of sucks that you can't.
I would like to hear a reason for why not...
Another thing I would like to see changed is the way the ships keep moving while docked with other ships...they should come to a halt when docked.

The grappling hook, as suggested in one of the old threads (I think) would be a perfect requirement for certain small, fast ships to be able to dock on larger moving ships.
*Keeps an eye on this thread and wonders when it will be splitted and moved to suggestions*
