Hi, I need some help

I got a boat given to me and while I have been sailing I have been busy making a paintbrush because I figured it would allow me to change the name of the boat. But I can't get it to work. Do I need another tool or am I just doing things wrong?

You need to dock to rename the ship. Start the project from harbour or shore and it should work. I can't remember what tool (pretty sure a paintbrush is good) but it works like renaming a building. You need to click on the pencil icon and alter the sign.

I like that you have to dock to start a name change project for a ship. That way as least there is a window of time that you might still be able to catch a boat thief before they totally make it unrecognizable.

Soo, I have docked now and tried changing the name with the paintbrush and still can't figure out how to do it....am I using the wrong tool?
