Not sure if cantr or my phone
cantr is crashing and not loading but I can't tell if it's the site or me, because it happened right when I posted dialogue, then after an hour it suddenly came back, and other people have spoken like it didn't crash for them, unless they were posting right before it crashed. And so I tried to post another line on one of my characters and it crashed again. This is so depressing on top of everything else right now

It's the game. The dialogue you saw was probably people that had posted a reply just before it crashed or sometime shortly after it came back.

Is this the reason for domesticated animals not producing dung? My farmer character is puzzled...

Well, it's likely the reason the animals didn't eat, which is the reason they didn't produce dung.

I just figured it was down because new and exciting changes were being added.
