stuck outside

I have been having problems with my character in Karnon. I think its only me too. I can not go inside any of the buildings or travel on any of the roads. I asked some of the people their and they say that the buildings are unlocked and have been for some time. the buttons that let you chose to go in/travel down roads isnt even showing up.
