bad character name?

ok, i got my email to get into cantr and i logged in, all that cool stuff. i named my character Vex. is that bad? when i go to the people area, all i see is "a man in his twenties, a woman in her fifites," etc. are those the characters real usernames? or am i just not seeing them?

Those are just their character descriptions, because you do not know them yet. You can ask for their names, and once they give them to you, you click on their description, and then click on the smiley. Now you can enter their name, and you'll see that on the events page and everywhere else.

You can also do the same thing to Vex if you want to give him a last name, just keeep in mind that other people can't see your name, so they'll only know you by what you tell them.
