Camel can't travel on expressways

I recently tamed and saddled a camel. When I tried to take any of the roads out of town, I get:
ERROR: You cannot use this exit route without the appropriate vehicle.
Every road out of this particular town is an expressway, so I have no way of knowing if its just that road type or any others.
I've traveled on expressways with different steeds, so I'm hoping this is a bug and not by design.

It's a bug. I have compared every little detail to the other mounts, and they're exactly the same. Probably something that requires programming. This might not be fixed until Tuesday.

I'm not sure if this helps, but all of the roads are gray as if you were docked to land on a ship a d looking at the locations tab.
