I see the new wiki page and the line in the announcement, but I can't find the leather mask in the build menu.

It seems it's not enabled yet. I'll give them a nudge.

It was an oversight, it is enabled now.

I had a rules question about masks so I'll just borrow this thread instead of cluttering up the place with a new one.
Would it be okay to temporarily change your character's description to hide their facial features if you had them wearing a mask?
It would at least keep a character's description from being passed around if they made the extra effort, though it's of limited usefulness with the name tag, I know. (And what would be the IC explanation for just automatically recognizing someone you had only seen briefly while they were wearing a mask that covered their entire face, say twenty years earlier...just another Cantrian superpower and don't question it too hard?

)

I'd recommend doing an emote that draws attention to the mask right away. Players (myself included) don't always check the desc before speaking, especially not when the other char is already named and therefore "recognizable" to them. It'll help the other players if you give them a little nudge to let them know they need to pay attention to something different about your char.
