Okay,
I have a characther that got attacked by a cow, a wolf, and three lions in one day. That seems a lot. Lions and wolves are obnoxios as they can hit even through an iron shield. I lost 24% in one day, and would have lost more had I not eaten some tomatoes in between. If I had not had shielding, I would have lost over 150% in one day! This seems to be to much and is certainly preventing a society from developing in this area. I got an iron shield early on, only out of luck. I would have been dead long before otherwise.

851-6: You get attacked by a wolf, and you lose 2 percent strength. You saved 30 percent using your iron shield.

850-8: You get attacked by a lion, and you lose 8 percent strength. You saved 30 percent using your iron shield.

850-8: You get attacked by a lion, and you lose 10 percent strength. You saved 33 percent using your iron shield.

850-6: You get attacked by a cow, and you lose 0 percent strength. You saved 33 percent using your iron shield.

850-6: You get attacked by a lion, and you lose 4 percent strength. You saved 35 percent using your iron shield. for up to

I got attacked again, already

okay, 3 lions, a wolf and a cow in one day. Add a mountain goat at 851-8,

Other people in this town got attacked by lions at 850-2 and 850-4.

When you add it all up, in 2 days that comes to 5 lion attacks, one wolf, one cow, and one mountain goat. It just seems like an awful lot.

Some areas are rough and hard to tame. You either need to move or find a better way. Either that or stand there and try and win.

I'm guessing that this happened on Aki island somewhere, the animals on that island do seem more aggressive then in other places. Out of 20 people my char has met, only 2 are still alive, everyone else has been killed by animals.

The point is that unpopulated and unsettled areas would be more wild and dangerous. This is so that you have to actually have to tame the land and make it liveable. Like in real life, some will accomplish this and others will simple fail.

Weather you survive either of thos is really your choice.

The lions can attack 3 times/day, can only hit them once!

Okay,
So the argument is that the area is still wild, which I can accept even though 3 lions a wolf and a cow attacking one individual in one day seems like a lot.
But don't you think that it is somewhat unfair that the lions can attack one person three times in one day, but I can only hit them back one time?

Keep in mind that if I had not been shielded with a strong shield, I would have died in one day.

I agree that the violence system is somewhat bad but I have argued my point in that respect.
