I apologize if I put this in the wrong forum but its not a suggestion exactly, so I couldn't think of where else to put it.
My question is this basicly. I noticed there are options for brick buildings & halls and a couple other material options to make buildings and halls but when it comes to wood, you can only make a log cabin. I mean as an actual building. Not counting extentions here. Why is this? And if this is too IC for the forums, I apologize but I don't think it is. Its me as a person, asking an ooc question, to clarify. Had some mix up earlier as to what the capital rule entails which is why Im saying this..

If any one wants to show a previous post like this, feel free but please don't be rude about it. I checked both this section of the forum and the suggestions and found nothing directly relating to this topic. just a bunch of topics that the search engine showed cause they had the word wood or building in the text..

You can build cottages and shacks with wood.
By the way, logs are made out of timber, not wood.

PS: A simple tip for you. These sort of questions can be answered by checking the build menu. For example, don't search for anything specific, but check what's available under the buildings section. Or, there is always the wiki.

I did check the build menu. That is how I figured this out. I went around looking for wood options for the hall and building and such and noticed there wasn't any. Didn't see a cottage there though. My apologizes. I thought I was thorough.

Thanks, then. The timber/wood distinction caught me off guard several times when I was starting, too.
