Ship sailing glitch...

Postby Mitch79 » Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:18 pm

I have an issue and I"m not sure how to explain it exactly so I'll do my best without confusing you.

Normally you can sail along on a ship, alter your course, and the line behind your ship immediately changes to reflect the direction you are going.

However, today I noticed that when I alter the ship direction, that line does not change. It will not change to what I alter it to. I think there is a glitch that needs to be looked into. This makes it difficult to sail without guessing you're going the right distance away from the coast.

I tested it with one of my characters but the line changes for me, so looks like the glitch only affects your ship.

I thought it might be, but it's on two ships I"m on and someone else claims they had the same issue.

I have since done some looking and it appears it's only doing it on Internet Explorer. When I use Firefox, it work the way it is supposed to and is just fine.

There's your problem. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, unless you have no choice, there's no reason to use IE. The browser is a horror show. If it wasn't a required component of windows, it would have been relegated to the junk heap of history long ago.
