The Wiki will tell you these things, as well as everything else manufacturing related. There is a link to the Wiki on the Cantr front page, or you can follow this link:

Well, wood is the only one on that list that's actually a raw material, and you would get that from a forest, naturally.

Leather and steel and lots of other products in Cantr are made from a combination of resources and machines. (Leather is made from hide and salt put in a curing tub, for instance...but your chars should probably be more worried about food and basic tools right now.)

I suggest spending some time reading the wiki, and a 'Hi, I'm new!" thread in the General Discussion forum might get you a little more general help, since not everyone bothers reading Support.

You can usually spend one or two days farming and then have enough food for a couple of weeks. So after that you might look into what kinds of things that can be made out of animal products, since in most towns there's plenty of them lying around. (bone knife is a must, and there's also a lot of clothes that can be made out of hide now.)

After that, maybe just try to make some friends, or look at some of the other resources in your town for something that might be more tradeable than carrots or potatoes or whatever. I really can't give you any specific advice after that, since it depends on your characters goals and personality adn where they spawned.

Is it possible to have more than one lock on a building/vehicle?
Kinda like double-padlocking a door.

Someone should suggest it- but only suggest it for a double padlock rather than as many as you want.

Because, it would be safer/easier/better to lock up people with crowbars. Oh, and ever heard of efficient castle defence? :D :D

I have two small questions, which really puzzle me right now...

1) How can a dinghy board a longboat, when this longboat is sailing at full speed and never stopped, when everybody knows that the speed of a dinghy is lower than the longboat? Oh... and this dinghy is not rigged.

2) How is it possible to be dragged into the dinghy and not being able to control it, just like the one who dragged is doing?

I really would like some explanation for this. Thank you.

ad 1) When ships are close together (not "on top") they can dock in no time

ad 2) Seems like a kind of bug to me.
