Missing events

Several of my chars are missing out on events. They see people leave a vehicle but don't see the same person enter it (which must have happened minutes earlier), or see items on the ground someone dropped there, but saw that person drop just one item out of five. That kind of things.
I want to see everything that happens around my chars, i didn't restrict visibility of events in any way.
I am afraid my chars might miss out on something important, like people talking to them.
